FAQs

Many of us are allergic to foods. Many ailments can be related to everyday diet. Even the finest foods can bring on headaches, stomach upset, irritable bowel, rashes and even asthma attacks. It is often impossible to isolate the problematic food, especially in today’s modern environment where we do not know every ingredients in our meals.

How will I benefit?

Problem foods are quickly isolated and identified giving you peace of mind as to which foods you can safely eat. Many health problems also relate to deficients in certain vitamins or minerals. Often longstanding illnesses are due to such deficiencies and can be eased/eliminated by the correct vitamins or minerals. John Neal will give you expert advice on which foods to eat to get a natural source or supplements.

How is the test done?

The test works on the theory of utilising the acupuncture pressure points on the fingers to measure resistance in the body to substances (foods, airborne, drinks etc), which can be the root cause of problems in every day life.

By placing samples of various substances (foods, airborne, drinks, etc) one by one into a special container (honeycomb) connected to the machine, practitioner can determine if the patient has sensitivity to the substance tested. Electrode is held in one hand connected to the machine. Probe is placed on an acupuncture pressure point opposite side of the body this creates a circuit with the machine.

Are there any risks involved in the testing and can anyone take the test?

As the method is an indirect link, no risks are involved. Sensitivity registers on the machine not with the person taking the test. No blood is taken, no pain involved and results are instant.

The youngest person to be tested was a baby aged 3 months old. Three women aged 92 were tested. In 20 years thousands have safely taken a test, many different nationalities, from a vast range of different backgrounds. Any man, woman or child can benefit from taking a sensitivity test.
